                                          vegetable pizza recipe
Vegetable pizza recipe with step by step photos. Today I am sharing a very easy step by step turotial on how to make veg pizza recipe or vegetarian recipe pizza from scratch. When I posted this thin crust veg pizza recipe , I had few of my readers ask for this pizzaria style vegetarian pizza recipe. This is my favorite go to recipe for vegetable pizza whebever we crave pizza.
I love veggie pizza and before learning this veg pizz recipe I used to have this sometimes from a pizzaria. Once I learnt this recipe and tried at home, we have never orderd a one from the shop yet :). This homemade vegetable pizza recipe is so easy, doable and simple, the finished veg pizza is imcomparably hygeneic, tasty and flavorful. Though not something very healthy (contains maida), this home made veg pizza is far far better than shop ones that you can even feed the younger ones without a fear, but yeah once in a while.
To make this vegetable pizza recipe a bit helthy and guilt free you can use whole wheat flour instead of maida. You can even use 50% maida and 50% wheat flour. I mostly use wheat flour in our breads, veg pizzas and cakes, but sometimes I do crave flour and make with maida. But if making as a meal for toddlers and kids defineltly use wheat flour.
The making of veggie pizza recipe can be broken into three components.
1. Kneading and leavening the dough
2. Making pizza sauce
3. Assembling and baking the vegetable pizza
You can easily do thr first two steps a day or several hours before, assemble and bake the veggie pizza at the time of serving. In fact if planned well, baking a pizza at home is a very easy and simple one. I have already blogged a recipe of homemade pizza but this vegetable pizza is more detailed with picture for each step. So sharing this as a new recipe.
As I said before the base for this vegetarian pizza is made of maida. I have added a dash of dried oregano and thyme to the base and it really does wonders to the pizza. Adding a pinch of dried herbs to the base takes the pizza to onw new level. You can even add crushed garlic flakes to the base instead of herbs. I usually buy organic mozzeralla cheese, but this time it was out of stock so I have used britania pizza cheese, I would say it is ok, if you can get good quality mozzarella defintely go for that.
For topping the vegetable pizza, I have used onions cubes, tomato, seeds removed and cubed, bellpeppers cubed and baby corns sliced. You can use olives, jalpeno, paneer cubes etc as per your preferance. I have added more cheese in this recipe than what I usually add. You can decrease the amount of cheese as per your preferance too.
One very important ingredient for making a good veggie pizza is good quality olive oil. Add good quality olive oil to the dough and to the rolled pizza base.

The first stethoscope

René Laennec, a French doctor and inventor was born 235 years ago today, and Google has marked his birthday with a Doodle. Dr Laennec's importance to modern medicine was guaranteed by his invention of the very first stethoscope in 1816. Here are five things you (probably) didn't know about him : 1. Dr Laennec's stethoscope bears little semblance to the modern stethoscope. Unlike those used today, Dr Laennec's stethoscope was not a set of ear pieces connected by a plastic tube to a chest piece. His stethoscopes were simple cylinders made from wood and metal. The doctor using it would simply place it directly over the area in question and listen at the other end. 2. His first stethoscope was a rolled up piece of paper Described in his  1819 treatise  on this device, Dr Laennec invented the stethoscope while treating a young woman suffering from symptoms of heart disease. 3. The stethoscope was not his only contribution to medical science I...

Lenovo Vibe K4 Note First Impressions

Lenovo has kicked off 2016 with the new Vibe K4 Note smartphone. Those familiar with Lenovo's Note series might get puzzled with the addition of the Vibe moniker to the name, especially given the success of Lenovo K3 Note last year. Head of Product and Marketing at Lenovo Smartphones in India, Anuj Sharma, clarified that the new K4 Note has been integrated with the Vibe series of smartphones. While we are not sure if this has anything to do with the rumours that Lenovo may discontinue its Vibe range to prevent cannibalisation of Motorola sales, Sharma yet again asserted "Vibe" range is not going anywhere . Lenovo at the Delhi launch event on Tuesday also showed some statistics to show how popular the Lenovo K3 Note really is in the country. The handset was the third most searched phone in 2015, based on Google's release data for India , and the company had sold around 1.2 million units. W...
