Fans of Apple's Live Photos feature for the iPhone 6S will have one more place to view images: Facebook.
The social network is rolling out the feature to a small percentage of users globally before it reaches a broader audience in the new year. Users running iOS 9 on their iPhone or iPad can view Live Photos from the Facebook app.
Live Photos are posted in the same manner as regular photos, by clicking the Photo option from Facebook's News Feed. Before posting, users tap on the lower right corner of the photo that reads Live to upload.
Introduced with the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus launching in September, Live Photos captures brief moments in a video clip before a photo is taken. The feature is also supported by Yahoo's Tumblr app.
