he HSBC Trade Confidence Survey gauges business sentiment and expectations on trade activity and business growth over a six month time horizon. A balanced sample of small enterprises to large corporate businesses are interviewed across 22 emerging and developed countries, with questions soliciting responses in three core areas:

Business confidence
Trade confidence
Future business outlook

Commercial sentiment in India is generally positive, while trade confidence has softened slightly (as measured by HSBC’s trade confidence survey). Business confidence is stronger, particularly as regards growth and a significant number of businesses have plans to increase their international trade.

Dr Laennec's importance to modern medicine was guaranteed by his invention of the very first stethoscope in 1816. Here are five things you (probably) didn't know about him : 1.
