TOM CRUISE, THE MUMMY AND THE AR RAHMAN CONNECT…

The hot topic today among Hollywood film buffs right now is about the fact that Tom Cruise would be teaming up with Alex Kurtzman for The Mummy reboot. The Mummy directed by Steven Sommers had a huge fan craze even in India when it got released in 1999.

The reboot of this superhit franchise will be helmed by director Alex Kurtzman, who had recently collaborated with AR Rahman for his English film People Like Us. Rumors loom large that Tom Cruise might act in this reboot. But we hear that nothing is confirmed as yet and Tom Cruise is not on board yet.

Apparently this reboot edition will be set in modern time period unlike the earlier version and it is expected to hit the screens in March 2017.
