contain harsh chemicals, petroleum products, sulfates,
synthetic dyes, and other potentially harmful ingredients.

ingredients that will strengthen, smooth, and moisturize.

The following is just a partial list of
questionable ingredients:

• Apply a generous amount of hair oil or serum to your hair
and scalp before swimming to protect them from harsh
pool chemicals and chlorine. Reapply as needed.

The very best way to wash your hair

Generally, most folks will discover that a gentle hair washing a
few times a week is sufficient to keep their hair and scalp clean.
1. Wet your hair with warm water.
2. Apply a small amount of hair cleanser to the palms of
your hands and rub together.
3. Starting at the crown of your head, begin
massaging the cleanser into your scalp and work
your way down to the ends of your hair. Massage for
at least 2 minutes to allow the botanical ingredients
to nourish your hair.
4. Rinse the cleanser out with warm water,
while massaging your scalp to increase
blood circulation.
5. Continue to massage the scalp for 30 more
seconds under warm water.
6. Gently pat your hair dry with a towel.

How to condition your hair perfectly

Lightly conditioning your hair after a gentle wash will
moisturize your scalp and help keep your hair smooth,
silky, and manageable until your next hair wash.
1. While your freshly cleansed hair is still damp, apply a
generous amount of conditioner to the palms of your hands
and rub together.
2. Starting at the ends of your hair, massage the conditioner into
your hair and scalp.
3. Leave on for 4–5 minutes.
4. Rinse the conditioner out with warm water.
5. (optional step) Apply a small amount of conditioner to the ends of your
hair only and leave on for 30 more seconds before rinsing again.

How to deep condition your hair

Deeply conditioning your hair and scalp a few times a month will intensely
nourish your hair and smooth your scalp.
1. While your freshly cleansed hair is still damp, apply a generous amount of
conditioner to the palms of your hands and rub together.
2. Starting at the ends of your hair, massage the deep conditioner into your
hair and scalp.
3. Gently comb the conditioner through your hair from the roots to the tips.
4. Put a shower cap on your head.
5. Leave the conditioner in your hair for at least 30 minutes or, ideally, overnight.
6. Rinse out the deep conditioner with warm water.

The first stethoscope

René Laennec, a French doctor and inventor was born 235 years ago today, and Google has marked his birthday with a Doodle. Dr Laennec's importance to modern medicine was guaranteed by his invention of the very first stethoscope in 1816. Here are five things you (probably) didn't know about him : 1. Dr Laennec's stethoscope bears little semblance to the modern stethoscope. Unlike those used today, Dr Laennec's stethoscope was not a set of ear pieces connected by a plastic tube to a chest piece. His stethoscopes were simple cylinders made from wood and metal. The doctor using it would simply place it directly over the area in question and listen at the other end. 2. His first stethoscope was a rolled up piece of paper Described in his  1819 treatise  on this device, Dr Laennec invented the stethoscope while treating a young woman suffering from symptoms of heart disease. 3. The stethoscope was not his only contribution to medical science I...

iPad Pro Review

The iPad Pro is, at first glance, completely crazy. A giant iPad with all the limitations of iOS, coupled with added bulk that makes it harder to tote, and a price tag that starts at Rs. 70,000 , all make it a hard sell. That's only the starting price though, and you're going to end up paying a lot more for this tablet. Realistically, you should get the 128GB model, which costs Rs. 79,900, and also the Apple Smart Keyboard , which will set you back by Rs. 14,900. Artists, designers, and others might also need to buy the Apple Pencil , priced at Rs. 8,600 - which means a final price tag between Rs. 94,800 and Rs. 1,03,400. At that price, you can't really compare it to the iPad Air 2 , the last 10-inch model to be released, with an MRP of Rs. 49,900 for the 128GB variant. ( Also see : iPad Air 2 Review: Still the King of Tablets ) But if the iPad Pro is nearly twice the price of the iPad Air 2, then it's also giving you a lot more, aside...
